this weekend i got the chance to photograph my friend katie's family. you may remember this family from past photo shoots. it is amazing to see dante as a big brother to little baby deacon!

on a beautiful march saturday here in south florida, i met up with marian, her mom, and her little girl, natalia. normally when i do photo shoots with children they want NOTHING to do with the person holding the camera a.k.a. me... natalia was reaching for me to hold her, her hand or blowing me kisses the entire time... what a cutie.

oh to be a little girl again.

today reese and i had an amazing day. we've been experiencing some newer changes, so today i wanted to make sure that we really enjoyed the day by being outside for most of it. the weather was beautiful here in wheaton (78 degrees and gorgeous).

in a lot of ways, reese's personality reminds me of when i was a little girl. she is a sneaky one, loves to laugh, and at the end of the day loves greeting the two most important people to her in the entire world-- her mom and dad.

this was the cutest thing ever. reese really wanted to go on the slide, but there was a HUGE spider web on it. this was her reaction... i think you can guess that we did not go on the slide.
