looking back.

i was revamping my portfolio today and couldn't help but post some of my favorite moments from the last few years of photography. it's amazing how blessed i've been to meet some wonderful families & couples who let me photograph their special moments.

a year ago today...

i can't believe a year ago today nathan and i got married... where does the time go? what an amazing and blessed day in my life.

and i'm back :)

and i'm back from my hiatus!!
we are officially moved in and all is underway here in miami :)
these past two months have been a much needed creative break-- although i did design an entire room in our new house!
i have many exciting photo dates coming up and i'm excited to get back to work!

oh to be a little girl again.

today reese and i had an amazing day. we've been experiencing some newer changes, so today i wanted to make sure that we really enjoyed the day by being outside for most of it. the weather was beautiful here in wheaton (78 degrees and gorgeous).

in a lot of ways, reese's personality reminds me of when i was a little girl. she is a sneaky one, loves to laugh, and at the end of the day loves greeting the two most important people to her in the entire world-- her mom and dad.
