westminster christian.

sorry it has taken me a long to time to get in the swing of things with this blog... i have recently taken a artist hiatus.... it has been wonderful. i feel rejuvenated and ready to get back to what i love doing the most...

so recently i began working at my old school, westminster christian school. i attended good ol' wcs from kindergarten all the way to my senior year of high school. it has been more of a homecoming than anything else. it is an amazing atmosphere and the kids have been great. i am a teaching assistant for the fifth grade which is a great age.
i have also been hired as the photography to document certain events as well as the daily life of the school... perfect job for me :) here are some of my first shots from the first few weeks.

this is an amazing art mural made of all recycled items.... glass bottle caps, a shovel as a fin, etc.
westminster has this fabulous science center. most of the art work is made from recycled goods like this class room divider made out of aquafina bottles.

this is doug teaching "world wonders" it is an amazing science program that is taught part in this hut and part in a barn that houses some cute fluffy chicks and a three month old goat.

the second grader cleaning up after art.... these are some sweet kids.

tis all for now. keep posted for more.
