alyssa and i have a very interesting connection. alyssa's mom was in my parents youth group that they led together when they got married.
i was so excited to photograph alyssa and trust me, she is such a fun amazing girl.
it was a gorgeous day in coconut grove & alyssa looked gorgeous!

horizons academy

in january i began working at westminster christian school. this time instead of being in the classroom, i'm now behind the scene in the advancement office. though i do a little bit of everything, i also get to design promotional material for the school as well as other things!

horizons academy is such an exciting new part of westminster. this school is for students who need forms of extra help when it comes to their studies. the school is opening next year here on our campus and will start developing more and more in the years to come... and i got to design the materials! with this project i wanted to incorporate the earth. the students will be outside for a good part of the day and what better way to learn than outside!

and i'm back :)

and i'm back from my hiatus!!
we are officially moved in and all is underway here in miami :)
these past two months have been a much needed creative break-- although i did design an entire room in our new house!
i have many exciting photo dates coming up and i'm excited to get back to work!

abuelo is 70!

this past weekend my husband nathan and i traveled to miami, florida. we got to enjoy celebrating my abuelo's 70th birthday. it was such a wonderful day filled with incredible amounts of love and celebration of my abuelo. he is one of the most incredible men i know... always putting his family first and loving each and every one of us to the brim.
